What is Simple Present Tense?
Present Indefinite Tense ऐसे tenses होते हैं. जिसमें कार्य करने का समय निश्चित नहीं होता. अर्थात यदि कोई कार्य हो रहा है. तो उसका समय नहीं पता होता. उदाहरण के लिए ‘रमेश स्कूल जाता है.’ इस वाक्य में स्कूल जाने का समय निश्चित नहीं है।
साधारण वर्तमान काल का प्रयोग नियमित क्रिया, अनियमित क्रियाएं, आदतें, सार्वभौमिक सत्य तथा नियोजित कार्य आदि के लिए किया जाता है।
Simple Present Tense के वाक्यों की पहचान करने के नियम
Present Indefinite Tense के वाक्यों के अंत में ता है, ती है, ते है. आदि शब्द आते हैं. उदाहरण के लिए सचिन क्रिकेट खेलता है, मैं ठंडा पानी पीता हूं. उसका दोस्त खाना खाता है. कृष्ण साइकिल से अपने घर जाता है।
कोई कार्य सार्वभौमिक सत्य है, कोई आदत है, आदि के वाक्यों को लिखने के लिए भी सिंपल प्रेजेंट टेंस का प्रयोग किया जाता है।
Types of Simple Present Tense with Examples
There are four types of Simple Present Tense
Affirmative Sentence
Formula – Subject + Verb (s, es) + Object
- वह इंडियन खाना हाथ से खाता है
- मैं स्वयं प्रतिदिन अपने लिए नाश्ता बनाता हूं
- उन बच्चों का ग्रुप हमेशा गरीबों की मदद करता है
- वह स्कूल जाकर सबसे पहले झाड़ू मारता है
- He eats Indian food with his hands.
- I make breakfast for myself every day.
- The group of those children always helps the poor
- He goes to school and takes the broom first.
Negative Sentences
Formula – Subject + don’t/doesn’t + V1 + Object
- वे लोग बदतमीजी से हमसे बात करते
- मैं रोजाना अपने दोस्तों को पैसे देता हूं
- मैं अकेला यात्रा नहीं करता.
- स्कूल जाने से पहले मैं हमेशा चाय पीता हूं

Interrogative sentences
Formula – Do/does +Subject+Verb + Others
