The Anand Sahib is a collection of hymns in Sikhism, written in the Ramkali Raag by Guru Amar Das, the third Guru of the Sikhs.
ਅਨੰਦ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਵਿਚ ਬਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਮਰਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਤੀਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ, ਰਾਮਕਲੀ ਰਾਗ ਵਿਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਪੰਨਾ 917 ਤੋਂ 922 ਤੇ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ. ਅਨੰਦ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ ਪੂਰੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ. ਅਨੰਦ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨਿਤਨੇਮ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਧਾਰੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਸਵੇਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਹਨ.

Anand Sahib is part of the Nitnem prayer which is recited in the morning by the Sikh community. This bani was written by the third guru of the Sikhs, Guru Amardas Ji, and is part of the 5 bani recited daily by the Sikhs. Where all religious ceremonies of the Sikhs are performed at Anand Sahib. Be it any event, be it marriage or death. It has been written in beautiful composition by Guru Amar Das Ji, the mind and soul of a true Sikh remain stable and goal-oriented in all situations of life.
All the ups and downs, joys and sorrows of life in an awakened joy alike are always connected with the sweet will of the Lord. He has a mind which is always illumined with the Guru’s consciousness. This bani is completely enveloping, heavy, and captivating in its form and effect.
After savoring the nectar of divine bliss in union with Priya Satguru and giving the taste of Naam Rasa by the grace of Satguru, no worldly happiness and sorrow is equal to a fraction of this bliss. And no worldly misery can unbalance this bliss. For once one who is immersed in this bliss completely transcends all pleasant and unpleasant dimensions.
Sri Guru Amar Das Ji most wonderfully expresses the ultimate joy experienced, blissful and attained in giving birth, seeking and meeting the holy true Guru.
