Recently, the result of Civil Services Exam 2021 was declared by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), in which 23 year old Divya Tanwar, who hails from Haryana, secured 438th rank. it was her 1st attempt in upsc cse. and her optional subject was Hindi literature.
Divya Tanwar hails from Nimbi, Mahendragarh, Haryana. Divya’s father died in 2011 due to a hard attack, her mother cooks food in school to run the house, the way Divya cracked the UPSC exam after coming out of a small village, people are applauding her for her immense success.

she has made the district proud by passing the UPSC exam in her very first attempt. Divya, a resident of village Nimbi, hails from a simple family. After completing primary level education in Manu School of village Nimbi, she got selected in Navodaya from the school itself.

After getting AIR-438 in UPSC at such a young age, Divya is being searched a lot on the internet, with the help of YouTube and preferred books Divya prepared for the IAS exam and went to different institutes to give mock interviews.
Divya said that she used to study for 7 to 8 hours in the beginning, but as prelims and mains came near, she studied for 11 to 12 hours. Divya further said that she did not take any coaching for UPSC, she passed this exam on the basis of self study.
“Set a goal in your life and work on it continuously. Problems will definitely come in between, but we have to be patient and keep working hard, with the dedication that I have done, then any child can do it” she said.
After passing the 12th examination from Navodaya Vidyalaya, Divya did her Bachelor of Science in Physics Chemistry Maths from Government Women’s College and simultaneously started preparing for the UPSC exam. Divya has a younger brother and sisters. She belongs from a poor family. Due to which her younger brother and sister are being provided free education.
