The Union Public Service Commission released the final result of UPSC 2022 on Tuesday, May 23rd. Garima Lohia has achieved All India Rank 2.
In the 2022 examination, 22-year-old Garima Lohia, a resident of Buxar, Bihar, has brought laurels not only to herself but also to her family by securing All India Rank 2 in UPSC CSE. her optional subject was Commerce and Accountancy in CSE. Garima did her 10th schooling from Woodstock School Buxar (Bihar), and her 11th and 12th schooling from Sunbeam Hostel Bhagwanpur Varanasi. She completed her graduation from Kirori Mal College (Delhi University).
A total number of 933 candidates have been recommended for appointment as per the following break-up, out of which 345 are from the general category, In addition, 263 candidates are from the other backward classes, 154 from the scheduled castes, and 72 from the scheduled tribes. The candidature of 101 recommended candidates is provisional.

Garima Lohia Strategy and Booklist
Garima has completed her graduation from Delhi University. And when her sixth semester went on, she returned to her home in Buxar during Covid and from there she started preparing for civil services. her optional subject in UPSC was commerce accountancy.
she prepared for the Civil Services Examination by staying in Buxar, Bihar. she said in an interview, “I started preparations by staying at home during the covid-19 epidemic. And took the help of online study material and YouTube. Although I did not expect such a good rank, she further said that I learned not to give up on failures but to work. Even today in the morning i was preparing for the next prelims exam of Civil Services.
Sharing her strategy, she said, “I started with my basic books and used online platforms to clear my doubts, and also got enrolled for an online test series,” Appearing for the interview this March, Garima had a “gut feeling” that she would crack the exam. “But I never thought that I would become the second topper. She described her UPSC preparation strategy, saying, “I used to study for 8 to 9 hours someday.” Garima thanked her family and mentors after achieving her goal. And he advised the applicants to be disciplined and work hard.
