Because this was her third attempt, she said in the interview, “I found prelims to be very unpredictable in all three stages. For the prelims exam, you should focus more on previous year question papers. Whatever test series you choose, make sure to compare them with previous year question papers and understand the language of the questions asked. For current affairs, you can read a regular newspaper and follow any one website. Reading a newspaper continuously for one year will definitely help you as it lays the foundation.”

Furthermore, she mentioned, “Over the past 2 years, I have analyzed why I did not perform well in the prelims, which questions I answered incorrectly, and the reasons behind my mistakes. Learning from these experiences, I dedicated my weaknesses to rectifying those errors. I meticulously reviewed both of my papers 10 to 12 times to identify the nature of my mistakes.

“I have used many test series, go to the market and pick any test series and compare them with PYQ and see how close it is to the UPSC question paper pattern. I always used to practice 90 to 92 questions daily.”

“Pick up each and every keyword of the syllabus in mains and read on it and most importantly make stamina. You have to give these 9 exams in 5 days which are not physically easy. I did the exercise 2 times before the actual exam. You keep doing the syllabus as well as keep revising.”
