History of Maharashtra

Maharashtra has been the center of trade of industry, commercial since ancient times. Because of which many rulers ruled such a picture. In the beginning, it was ruled by the Vakatakas. Later the Yadavs defeated them. After the rule of the Yadavas, the Mughal ruler Alauddin Khilji established his rule here.
