If you live in Odisha, the holidays of each state may be different from each other. Some festivals are prominent in this region. This means some holidays are specific to the state of Odisha only and which are celebrated only in Jharkhand.
Every year 3 national festivals are celebrated in India, Republic Day in January, Independence Day in August, and finally Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti in the month of October.
Govt. official sources said a total of 27 holidays have been announced for the State government offices, and Revenue and Magisterial Courts (Executive). As many as 18 holidays have been declared for the banks and other banking institutions in the State.
