Summary
This is the gameplan of Sudarshan Chakpani and Kumar Mahajan’s wife. They are in love with each other and they want to get rid of Kumar. Sudarshan is actually the owner of the company where Kumar works.
That is why they lay a trap for dissolving their son’s feet, bribes and suspensions and then suddenly reconstruction and transfer. All on Sudarshan’s orders. Kumar’s friend plays a pawn (for money and increments) and he puts the astrologer and takes Kumar to him.
So the astrologer is shown missing and his friend has received SMS on his phone (which is fake). Sudarshan Kumar wants to end up so that he can marry Kumar’s wife (who does not want to live an ordinary life in Mumbai’s Chawl).
Kumar comes for this trap and is brutally murdered in the forest guest house. Remember, one page reads, “A woman entered my life” It refers to Kumar’s wife entering Sudarshan’s life when he sees her at the office party. The astrologer has been given by his friend and his wife about Kumar’s past life. His friend remembers Sudarshan’s address when he sees the fake fingerprint paper in the hand of the astrologer (Sudarshan’s gameplan).
When Kumar reaches the address, the watchman says that no person of that name lives there, but the old person identifies the name (he is also planted) and suddenly he gets a call about the transfer to the same place to which the old man refers.

समानांतर कहानी कुमार महाजन के चरित्र के इर्द-गिर्द घूमती है, बेशक वह कहानी का नायक है। वह इस बात पर अडिग है कि उसके जीवन में जो घटनाएँ घट रही हैं, वे शायद आज तक किसी के जीवन में न घटी हों। अपना भविष्य जानने के लिए कुमार अपने मित्र वफगांवकर के साथ एक स्वामी महाराज के पास जाते हैं। एक आश्चर्यजनक बात जो उसे पता चलती है वह यह है कि इस्म और कुमार की हथेलियों के बीच ‘सुदर्शन चक्रपाणि’ नाम का एक आश्चर्यजनक समानता है। फिर कहानी में रहस्यमय व्यक्तित्व (सुदर्शन चक्रपाणि) की खोज की यात्रा शुरू होती है।
