What are Singular and Plural Words?
If a word denotes one person or thing it is said to be in the singular. such as- Boy, Girl, Leaf, Actor, Mango, Class etc. If a word denotes more than one person or thing, it is said to be in the plural. such as- Boys, Girls, Leaves, Actors, Mangoes, Classes
Rules For Changing For Singular to Plural
Generally Plural are formed by adding “-s” to the singular.

Compound nouns add “-s” to the principal word to form their plural.
