The necklace story is told in reality that describes Madame Loisel because Madame Loisel is beautiful on the outside but is dissatisfied with not living a rich lifestyle inside Mathilde succumbs to greed that is contrary to her husband’s generosity.
Her pride prevents her from appearing less rich in front of her friend Madame Forestier. When Madame Loisel borrows a necklace from her friend Madame Forestier to go to The Ball party because she wanted to look the richest at the Ball party but eventually loses the necklace, she uses her 10 years of savings and all that money to buy That Necklace. But later she feels sad when it is discovered that the necklace her friend gave her is fake.
