The Union Public Service Commission released the final result of UPSC 2021 on Monday, May 30. Ankita Agarwal has achieved All India Rank-2.
At present, 685 candidates have been selected for the UPSC examination, out of which 244 are from the general category, women, and economically weaker sections and in addition, 203 candidates are from the other backward classes, 105 from the scheduled castes and 8 from the scheduled tribes. And the result of 80 candidates is provisional, while the result of one candidate has been withheld due to unknown reasons.
Ankita Agarwal, who hails from Kolkata, has topped the UPSC exam this time by securing All India Rank 2 all over India. By getting AIR-2.
“I studied hard as I could while still giving time to her health, her family members, and to her friends. I tried to fit in as many hours as I could to study for at least 8-12 hours a day.”
“My parents supported me a lot throughout my journey,” she said. Moreover, they never burdened her with their dreams or forced her to study hard. “My parents were never forceful about my career plans,” she said.
I have been trained in economics, I have a lot of interest in development economics. she further said that I wanted to work on the grass root.
I’ll get an opportunity to dwell more on this in IAS. More than strategy, I think if someone wants to be a Civil Servant, they should be very clear about their motivation. It will push you on difficult days.
further, she said it was my third attempt at UPSC civil service. On my first attempt, there was less time so I couldn’t cover much. On my second attempt, there was a lack of diligence, but I thankfully bridged it in my third attempt.
